September Meeting
Old Business
Checking on the password for the church internet.
Programs
All meetings will be held at the church, other than the January and February meetings that will be held via Zoom. The September meeting will be a trunk show from Nancy R. October will be dedicated to quilt show preparations.
Treasurer
The budget was presented, adjustments were made. This will be presented to the members for voting at the Sept meeting.
Membership - Registration
We will be collecting $35 for membership fees. Payment can be made by via e-transfer, cash or cheque. Past members not signed up by the end of October will be removed form our list. Checking businesses to provide draw prizes.
Newsletter
Next reports are due Mon Oct 10 or earlier.
We Care
Will be having a sorting day of the 18 bins to colelct fabric to be sold off at the quilt show, this will greatly reduce the amount in storage. Asking members to no donate any fabric at this time. Once the kits are finished no new ones will be made. Members will receive only batting and backing for two quilts each for this year.
Advertising
Will make contact with all advertisers to see if they will be continuing with ads in our newsletter.
Mini Project
Halloween potholder will be for September. When theya re delivered to the October meeting they will be kept for display at the quilt show, the swap will happen at the November meeting.

Next meeting will be Sept 13, 7pm. Janet and Karlie meet to review tasks to be completed.
November Meeting
Programs
Novemeber will be Wanda L presenting on 'Entering Quilt Canada', Carla will present her 5FAV and presentation of the Quilt Show winner prizes.
Treasurer
Presented the totals from the quilt show, discussion of fund allocation.
Membership - Registration
83 members, 16 signed up at the quilt show, 1 returning member. Chitter Chatter will be donating a prize gift, will add them to the advertising in the newsletter. Need more buddies for the new members.

We Care
Setting up a committee meeting, hoping someone will take on the lead role from Grace. Will bring leftover bundles to the meeeting to sell.
Mini Project
November project Christmas lotto block, 81/2 (8 finished), any pattern any colour, to be brought for Dec.

Quilt Show
Prize winners will be emailed and asked to attend the meeting with their winning quilt. A few more show reviews still expected. The show was a huge success, 540 ladies attended.
Advertising
Lyn has checked in to see who will continue advertising in the newsletter. Those giving prize draws get free ads.
Sunshine
More welcome bags will be made up for our new members.
Workshops
Nov 15 workshop with Nancy (Ruler Work) is a go. Hoping to have another in February, different topic.
Library
Kim has joined the committee. Books from the library that did not go to the quilt show will be sold at the meetings.
New Business
Insuracne with CQA has been paid.
Discussion on Mini Skills demo, maybe to start in the spring.
In person Sew Day to be looked into for a spring date.
December Meeting
Programs
Fun and games night with prizes. Showing and telling about the challenge quilts. January will be a zoom speaker.
Treasurer
Presented a revised budget with additional money added to some categories. Will be presented
Membership - Registration
86 members to date. Chitter Chatter donated a prize gift ready to go for this meeting. Will be ordering lanyards to replace those all sold out.

Next reports are due Mon Dec 12 or earlier.
We Care
Batting and backing has been ordered. Naida has the quilt labels. Will check about having some at Cozy Cottons for pickup.

Janet will be looking into a location for March, room rental to be covered by the guild. Possible have some skills demonstrations.
January Meeting
Programs
January will be a zoom speaker Cheryl Arkinson - Improv Quitling. Feb will be Brandon Muff - Biscotti. March is de-stash.
Treasurer
A revision of the revised budget was overviewed, now included new webpage costs. Will be sent to members for review and January meeting voting.
Membership - Registration
85 members to date. Lanyards are ordered wil be available at the Mach meeting $5.00.

We Care
Recent fabric donated will be available to members for We Care tops at the March meeting. One one batting has been requested so far. Will arrange for quilt drop off and label pick up at Cozy Cottons (Angela).
Mini Project
Christmas lotto block draw will now be done at the march meeting due to December meeting cancellation. A new project will be presented at the Feb zoom meeting for swap at the March meeting.

October will be dedicated to quilt show preparations with a presentation from Janet S on her 'FAV 5'. Novemeber will be Wanda L presenting on 'Entering Quilt Canada'.
Treasurer
The proposed budget will be sent to the members pre meeting. This will be voted on at the Oct meeting. Discussion on money and paper trail.
Membership - Registration
A new gift certificate has been added from Quiltnut Creations, the other three will be continuing - Graceland, Carolas, Cozy Cotton. 55 members to date, with 4 returning members and 5 new members.

Bundle/sorting day is set for Oct 12 at 1pm. Scraps can be brought to the show on the Friday.

October project announcement is a Autumn coloured mug rug to be swapped at the November meeting.

Workshops
Nancy R will be offering three workshop if there is enough interest. The Ruler Work workshop has 12 members sign up, can take 3 more. This workshop will be held in November, payment is due at the October meeting. Cost to rent the church is $100. Two others will be offered - Improv and Landscapes.
Library
Replacement books for those missing due to covid non-returns will be bought.
New Business
Cooks Church will be including the Quilt Guild in their featured article in the Progress newspaper.
